“My purpose is to bring art and beauty, in its many forms, to the lives of patrons, to those who seek to be surrounded by pieces of our society, artifacts of our culture, of our psyche.” — Madeleine Mermall
Madeleine Mermall is well-versed in multiple facets of the art industry, which colleagues attribute to her dedication to thorough research, strong interpersonal skills, and an unwavering enthusiasm for her work.
A Chicago native, Ms. Mermall was actively engaged in her local humanities, holding a presence in various art councils over the course of her youth and development. Ultimately moving to New York, Ms. Mermall received her B.F.A. in Art History at New York University, where she graduated with High Honors and diligently pursued internships and work-study programs. Since relocating, she has written and conducted research for outlets such as Artforum and Art Versed, in addition to curating shows throughout both Chicago and New York City.
Self-described as a lifelong learner and a walking encyclopedia of art, Madeleine is formally and informally continuing her studies to further serve as a liaison between clients and artists. While currently continuing her studies in Art Business at New York University, Madeleine is also independently studying art trends through social media, which has positioned her to have a distinctly unique approach in connecting herself and clients with artists. As a collector of art herself, Madeleine is deeply familiar with the personal experience of acquiring and maintaining a collection, allowing her to guide and assist her clients with care and ease.
